Parahat-7 to Add 13 Residential Buildings and Park

At the Cabinet of Ministers meeting held on September 13, Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, through a digital system, received a report from Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Baimurat Annamammedov, regarding preparations in Ashgabat for the upcoming 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. The anniversary is being celebrated in the "Year of the Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy" alongside preparations for the Halk Maslahaty session.

The Deputy Chairman reported that, in anticipation of the country's major holiday, measures are being taken to turn Ashgabat into a flourishing garden and create optimal conditions for the cultural recreation of residents and visitors. Plans are also underway to ensure the events are held at a high level.

Efforts include the renovation of social and cultural buildings, beautification of adjacent areas, parks, squares, and fountains, as well as the planting of decorative flowers. Maintaining the cleanliness of streets and residential areas is a priority. Significant attention is also being given to the city’s festive decorations. Notably, the Parahat-7 residential complex in Ashgabat will see the ceremonial opening of four 9-story buildings with 54 apartments and nine 9-story buildings with 36 apartments, along with a new park. Additionally, preparations are ongoing for the Halk Maslahaty session, a historically significant event for the country.

After hearing the report, President Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of celebrating the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence nationwide, including in the capital. He also stressed the significance of the Halk Maslahaty session.

The President instructed the Deputy Chairman to ensure a high level of organization for the upcoming festivities and to oversee the activities related to the decoration and beautification of Ashgabat.
