A new high-quality salt production facility is set to be built in Turkmenistan at the Guwlyduz complex, part of the state chemical corporation Türkmenhimiýa.
According to Turkmenistan's official media, the proposal to establish this facility was introduced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Construction and Industry, Baymyrat Annamammedov, during an online government meeting on Friday.
The plant will focus on producing various types of salt, aiming to meet global market demand with competitive products. The project will also supply raw materials for medical-grade salt, which will be produced by the Arkadag Medicine Cluster Management in accordance with international standards.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of developing modern enterprises capable of fulfilling global demand for eco-friendly, high-quality salt. He instructed Deputy Prime Minister Annamammedov to thoroughly examine the construction plans for the new facility.
Other matters related to national development were also discussed during the government meeting.
