Turkmenistan showcases its national clothing style at the III International Forum Commonwealth of Fashion, running from November 19 to 20 in St. Petersburg, Russia, as reported by official Turkmen media.
The forum gathers over 1,500 participants from CIS countries and, for the first time, from the Republic of Angola. It serves as an important platform for discussing current issues in the fashion industry. Participants will explore the influence of cultural traditions on modern fashion trends, innovations in textile production, and opportunities for government support and investment in the sector.
The event plans to sign about 20 agreements, including projects related to Turkmenistan.
The first International Forum Commonwealth of Fashion took place on October 19, 2022, with approximately 700 participants from the light industry and fashion sector, relevant ministries, business associations, educational institutions, and the creative sector, representing Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
