The Made in Uzbekistan exhibition opened on Wednesday in Turkmenabat, located in the Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan.
UzDaily reports that the expo took place as part of the Second Turkmen-Uzbek Interregional Forum.
The opening ceremony featured Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan; Mergen Gurdov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan; and representatives from ministries, agencies, and business circles of both countries.
Uzbekistan showcased a national stand at the exhibition, highlighting innovative developments and high-quality products that meet international standards.
The exhibition highlights key sectors of the economy, including agriculture, construction, tourism, automotive, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, textiles, leather and footwear, and food production.
The Made in Uzbekistan exhibition marked an important step in developing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, continuing a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening their mutually beneficial partnership.
On July 15, 2024, Tashkent hosted a national exhibition of Turkmen goods titled Made in Turkmenistan.
