Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, visited Arkadag City on Tuesday to review the second phase of its construction projects and held a working meeting with leaders from relevant sectors, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected areas designated for medical cluster facilities and carpet weaving enterprises during his visit. He also reviewed finishing materials and plans for new buildings, paying special attention to the quality of construction work, the integration of structures into the urban landscape, and the improvement of surrounding areas.

The presented projects included the State Museum, a bus station, and other infrastructure facilities. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty offered several remarks and made necessary adjustments, noting that the museum's exhibition should reflect the rich history of the Turkmen people and the achievements of Arkadag City.

The working meeting addressed the construction progress and preparations for upcoming celebrations, including International Neutrality Day and the New Year. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of organizing these events at a high level and ensuring the timely distribution of keys to new residents.

The National Leader also visited the under-construction roundabout at the intersections of Akhan and Kopetdag avenues. After reviewing the progress of the work, he proposed naming the monument at its center Taýçanak, symbolizing the aspiration for a bright future. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized the importance of using high-quality materials and aesthetically pleasing designs for the surrounding areas.

Noting the rapid pace of construction and its alignment with international standards, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed out the need for further improvements in the implementation of the second phase of the megacity.
