Romania’s Chimcomplex, a leading producer and supplier of key chemicals in Romania since 1954, has proposed the creation of the Turkmen-Romanian Chemical Company, a joint venture between Chimcomplex and Turkmenistan's Turkmenhimiya Concern, aimed at promoting industrial development and economic cooperation, said Stefan Vuză during the Turkmenistan Economic Investment Forum (TEIF 2025) in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.

The partnership will be realized through four key projects to expand chemical production capabilities in Turkmenistan sodium hypochlorite, polyols, PVC, and various other chemicals.

Stefan Vuză strongly urges investors to seize the opportunities in Turkmenistan's chemical industry. The combination of abundant resources, favorable economic policies, and strategic location makes Turkmenistan an attractive destination for growth and profitability. Investing in this dynamic market allows stakeholders to support economic growth and shared prosperity in both Turkmenistan and Romania.

The Turkmenistan Economic Investment Forum (TEIF 2025) runs through April 24 in Kuala Lumpur.
