National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, conducted a working visit to Ashgabat on Friday, where he reviewed the progress of several major healthcare and social infrastructure projects.
According to official Turkmen media, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the construction with a capacity of 500 patients International Scientific and Clinical Oncology Center, with a capacity of 160 patients International Pediatric Center, and a new Dental Center.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baimyrat Annamammedov reported that a modern Health House is being built at an accelerated pace in one of the new residential districts on the city’s outskirts. The facility is designed to meet current medical standards and healthcare needs.
Annamammedov also provided updates on the construction of a 4,000-seat Cultural Center, which will serve as a major venue for artists and cultural figures who contribute to the Turkmenistan’s spiritual and cultural development. He noted that construction of new residential complexes and other social facilities remains active across the capital.
Additionally, landscaping work continues in the southern part of Ashgabat near the Neutrality Monument, where two new museums dedicated to Turkmenistan’s policy of neutrality are planned.
The development of these healthcare facilities is part of the national Saglyk (Health) Program, which aims to integrate advanced technologies into the country’s medical system.
