Azerbaijan imported 155.3 million cubic meters of natural gas from Turkmenistan in the first four months of 2025, according to the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The value of the purchased gas amounted to $23.3 million during the reporting period.
From January to April, Azerbaijan’s total natural gas imports reached 176.5 million cubic meters, worth $27.2 million.
On the export side, Azerbaijan shipped 8.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas valued at $3.1 billion to markets including Georgia, Serbia, Türkiye, Bulgaria, Italy and Greece, underscoring the country’s key role as a regional energy supplier in the Caucasus and Southeast Europe.
