Miwe, an open joint-stock company and member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), is successfully developing its fruit growing sector and increasing exports, the UIET press service reported.
In 2025, Miwe harvested 80 tons of apples from 110 hectares and 100 tons of peaches from 115 hectares. The environmentally friendly and flavorful fruits are supplied to the domestic market and are gradually being exported abroad.
The government has granted the company long-term use of a 3,325-hectare land plot in the Kahka district of Ahal velayat. Millions of fruit trees, including apples, peaches, persimmons, cherries, cornelian cherries, and pears, are cultivated there. The company employs modern agricultural techniques and drip irrigation systems equipped with advanced foreign technology, ensuring high quality and stable yields.
The harvest season is currently ongoing. Miwe representatives are confident in successfully fulfilling their key tasks and plan to significantly increase export volumes.
