Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific Signs Three-Year Contract with Turkmenhimiya

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (MHI-AP), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., has signed a three-year service contract with the State Concern Turkmenhimiya, operator of Turkmenistan’s largest fertilizer plant, the Garabogazkarbamid Fertilizer Plant, according to the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries website.

MHI-AP, which serves as an after-sales service hub for chemical plants delivered by MHI Group worldwide, will supply spare parts for critical rotating equipment including gas turbine generators, heavy-duty compressors and pumps, along with other parts and consumables. The services will be provided in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation.
