The Bahar Garment Production Association, operating under Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Textile Industry, has begun producing uniforms for volunteers of the upcoming UN international forum, scheduled for August 4–8 in the Avaza tourist zone, Biznes Reklama newspaper reported on Monday.

The enterprise is also an active participant in major industry events — Bahar recently showcased its new clothing lines at the international exhibition TURKMEN TEXTILE EXPO—2025.

Founded in 1936, the garment association specializes in manufacturing various types of clothing, including uniforms for military and state personnel. The production facility is equipped with modern machinery: around 300 employees work at the factory, which operates 405 high-tech sewing and cutting machines imported from abroad.

Fabrics are sourced from leading textile complexes across the country — in Ruhabat, Ashgabat, Kahka, Turkmenbashi and Gokdepe, as well as from the S.A. Niyazov Nahmat Textile Complex. The volume and range of raw materials are selected according to current orders, allowing the enterprise to fulfill tasks flexibly and with high quality.
