New Residential Buildings Rise in Southern Dashoguz
Opening ceremony of the residential complex in Dashoguz city, July 21, 2021, Turkmenistan

Along the highway connecting Dashoguz city with Gorogly district, land improvement and residential construction are advancing at an accelerated pace. Several four-story buildings are currently under construction, three of which are located on a plot adjacent to the highway in the village of Parahat, Gulistan subdivision of Shavat district, Dashoguz province, Turkmenistan, official media reported Friday.

The new buildings vary in the number of apartments and entrances. At present, the structural frames are complete, while finishing work continues in several buildings. The projects are being carried out by private construction companies.

Construction of new residential and infrastructure facilities is also underway in other parts of the city. Major projects launched last year include the construction of the Dashoguz provincial justice administration building along the road toward Koneurgench and the laying of the foundation for a 400-bed Mother and Child Health Center. Private retail and entertainment centers, stores, and pharmacies have also opened in different parts of the provincial capital.

Dashoguz’s development combines the use of vacant land plots with the rational use of already built-up areas. Special attention is paid to providing engineering and social infrastructure when forming new residential districts.
