A livestock complex owned by entrepreneur Byashim Sopyyev in the Akbugday etrap currently holds more than 820 head of high-yield Simmental and Holstein cattle, according to a report published Monday by the newspaper Rysgal.

Sopyyev has leased a previously operating farm in Ak bugday district for several years. Modernization of the facility’s technical base and improvements to the herd’s genetic composition have enabled the entrepreneur to steadily expand operations in the livestock sector.

The report said construction of a larger, more advanced facility is underway several kilometers from the existing complex. A modern livestock complex is being built on 10 hectares of a 250-hectare land plot granted to the entrepreneur for long-term use.

The new complex is designed to house about 5,000 breeding animals and will incorporate technologies to monitor animal health, diet and activity through specialized sensors, as well as automated milking systems.

Planned infrastructure includes cattle barns, facilities for feeding beef cattle, a milking unit, feed storage areas, feed-mixing sites, a vehicle garage, security and animal housing facilities, a slaughter unit, a transformer substation, utility buildings, water reservoirs, a processing facility, a finished-goods warehouse and disinfection barriers.

Once the complex becomes operational, about 100 new jobs will be created for local residents. More than 100 additional workers are expected to be employed during peak seasonal agricultural periods.
