The Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S.A. Niyazov, in cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, is conducting research to develop products that not only nourish plants but also help prevent soil salinization and improve soil structure, Turkmenistan’s state media reported Thursday.

The plant places particular emphasis on scientific and environmental approaches in the production of mineral fertilizers. Its environmental strategy aims not only to increase agricultural yields but also to develop products that help prevent soil salinization and preserve soil fertility.

The chemical plant also plans to launch the production of liquid fertilizers in the near future. Such products are widely used in greenhouse farming.

The enterprise produces more than 30 types of products. These include coagulants used in water treatment, which are important for municipal utilities, as well as various polymer products.
