Turkmen Entrepreneur Launches Production of Caramel Candies With Roasted Peanuts

A member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, entrepreneur Ismail Ismailov from Dashoguz has launched the production of caramel candies with roasted peanuts, Turkmen state media reported Saturday.

According to the report, the entrepreneur began producing nabat, a traditional Eastern sweet made from crystallized sugar, and confectionery products based on it in 2020.

The enterprise is located in the Shabat etrap of Dashoguz province and produces a wide range of products, including nabat, fruit-flavored caramel based on it, and sweets with roasted peanuts. Production volumes allow the company to fully meet local demand for these goods.

In the first two months of this year, the enterprise recorded a noticeable increase in production. During that period, it produced 5.8 tons of fruit caramel, 2.1 tons of caramel with roasted peanuts, and 3.6 tons of nabat.
