Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for the transport and communications complex, Batyr Annayev, met with Belarusian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Stanislav Chepurnoy on Tuesday in Ashgabat to discuss boosting transport and logistics cooperation.
The sides reviewed issues related to air links between the two countries, as well as prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation, the Embassy of Belarus in Turkmenistan said.
They also discussed preparations for the next meeting of the Belarusian-Turkmen intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
Turkmenistan and Belarus have earlier discussed prospects for resuming direct flights between Ashgabat and Minsk.
