Russian company AgroExport plans to increase wheat flour supplies to Turkmenistan to 400 tons per day. The company’s director, Kirill Zaitov, told Business Turkmenistan during the international exhibition Agro Pack Turkmenistan 2026 on Tuesday in Ashgabat.
According to Zaitov, the increase in export volumes is expected after the launch of a second production line at the flour milling complex located in the Lotus Special Economic Zone in Russia’s Astrakhan Region. The new line is scheduled to begin operations within the next three months.
The company currently produces around 200 tons of flour per day and exports approximately 6,000 tons of products to Turkmenistan each month.
The company’s flour milling complex was commissioned in 2025 and is considered one of the region’s modern industrial facilities. The production site is equipped with automated systems, quality control equipment and energy-efficient technologies. The enterprise operates a multi-level quality control system covering every stage from grain intake to finished product packaging.
The export assortment includes premium-grade baking wheat flour, including products marketed under the “Astrakhan Wheat Baking Flour” brand.
