Thirty residential buildings, along with shopping and service centers, are planned for construction and commissioning in the Parahat-7 residential complex in Ashgabat in 2026. Another 46 modern residential buildings and a multifunctional cultural center with 4,000 seats will be built in the Buzmeyin district residential complex, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Baymyrat Annammammedov said at the international conference “White City Ashgabat” on Sunday in Ashgabat.
According to the deputy prime minister, Ashgabat plans to commission 78 two-story cottages and two apartment buildings with 140 apartments by City Day. In the Bagtyyarlyk district of the capital, 78 five-room two-story cottages will be completed, while the Berkararlyk district is set to receive two five-story apartment buildings with 60 and 80 apartments, respectively.
Across the country, more than 900,000 square meters of housing are scheduled to be commissioned this year. Educational institutions with capacity for 3,380 students and preschool facilities for 1,080 children are also expected to open.
All of the projects are being implemented under the “Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments in 2026.” Total funding for the program amounts to 41.2 billion manats. Of that amount, 68.5% will be allocated to production facilities, while 31.5% will go toward the construction of non-production infrastructure.
