Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on reports circulated by international media on July 25, 2026, about an attack on a vessel in the Caspian Sea.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry declared the inadmissibility of such actions.
According to the statement, Turkmenistan, as a Caspian littoral state and a country with permanent neutrality recognized by the United Nations, emphasized that the Caspian Sea is a sea of peace, harmony and good-neighborliness.
