The Hasar economic society has expanded its production capacity and product range, now offering more than 200 types of confectionery, company lawyer Leyla Ergeshova told Business Turkmenistan during the KIDS EXPO: Everything for Children international trade fair in Ashgabat.
The Ashgabat-based company has expanded its product range to include small “Coconut” coconut candies, small-packaged cookies, “Gaýmakly” cookies and “Bally” toffees in various flavors. The company, which uses high-quality natural raw materials, has been marketing its products in Turkmenistan for more than 25 years.
Since the early years of its operation, Hasar has focused on regularly expanding its product line and has equipped its production lines with new machinery from Germany and Italy. The company has launched production of caramel, chocolate-coated candies, jelly candies and new types of cookies. Its confectionery products began entering foreign markets in 2008.
The launch of a new production facility in 2012 significantly increased the company’s production capacity. It began producing more than 100 types of products, including cookies, candies, caramel, wafers, chocolate-wafer cakes, marmalade and toffees. In recent years, modernization of its production lines has enabled the company to add new types of candies, chocolate bars and wafer products.
The expansion of production capacity has also enabled Hasar to broaden its export markets. Its products are supplied to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, China, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. In 2017, the company received ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2005 international certificates. Its products have also been showcased at international exhibitions, including World Food in Moscow and exhibitions in the UAE, Germany and Istanbul.
