Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Bayram Bayramov met with representatives of pharmaceutical company Neopharma LLC on Thursday. The sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the UAE reported.
The meeting focused on the supply of medicines, exchange of professional experience and technologies, as well as prospects for developing production capabilities.
The Ambassador noted the consistent development of Turkmen-Emirati relations and emphasized the sides’ mutual interest in expanding practical cooperation in health care and the pharmaceutical industry.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue dialogue in the identified areas of cooperation, including by establishing contacts with Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Health and Medical Industry.
According to the company’s official website, Neopharma LLC was founded in 2003 and has 10 manufacturing facilities across three continents. The company also produces more than 100 types of medicines and supplies its products to more than 50 countries, including countries in the Middle East, Africa and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
