A new 240-seat kindergarten has opened in the Gulistan residential complex in Dashoguz city. The facility, built by the Mäkäm private enterprise, meets modern standards, Turkmenistan’s official media reported.
The kindergarten covers about 2.5 hectares and is equipped to support children’s all-around development. Facilities are available for teaching foreign languages, playing active games, engaging in creative activities and learning to use computer technology.
The two-story building is designed for 12 groups. Each group has a changing room, a food distribution area, a playroom and a sleeping room. The kindergarten also has a music hall, an indoor swimming pool, a kitchen, a laundry room and medical staff rooms equipped with modern facilities.
The landscaped grounds include concrete-paved walkways, summer pavilions for outdoor recreation, playgrounds and sandpits. A dedicated area for growing vegetables and fruit, a utility area and other supporting facilities are also provided.
The Gulistan residential complex previously opened a modern kindergarten and a general education secondary school, according to the report. Renovation work has also been carried out at existing facilities in Dashoguz province, along with the provision of equipment and supplies needed for educational and childcare activities.
