Turkmen-Singaporean Political Consultations Held in Singapore
In the course of the negotiations the sides exchanged views on the further expanding the cooperation between the countries in the authoritative international organizations.

Turkmen-Singaporean political consultations were held in Singapore between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries on June 11, 2019. Deputy Secretary (Asia-Pacific) of Singapore Mr. Ng Teck Hean headed the consultations from the host side.

At the beginning of the consultations the parties noted that the regular political consultations were the real mechanism to strengthen bilateral relations in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres and discussed the implementation of the bilateral documents signed between the two countries.

In the course of the negotiations the sides exchanged views on the further expanding the cooperation between the countries in the authoritative international organizations, especially in the United Nations Organization.

The parties also discussed possibilities of organization of high-level visits and business forums between the business communities of the two countries, and development of cultural-humanitarian relations.

Within the framework of the visit to Singapore, the delegation of Turkmenistan had meetings with Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Maliki Osman, representatives of Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE), Management and Development Institute of Singapore and Singapore Business Federation.
