The glass-blowing workshop of the design and engineering department of the Center of Technologies of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan is successfully building up its “author's” products.
Glassblowing masters supply all the laboratories of the Center with the necessary glass inventory — all kinds of flasks, beakers, dispensers, and pilot mini-plants. A wide range of such products is made exclusively of borosilicate glass. Due to the unique heat-resistant properties of borosilicate glass, the products made from it are widely used both in everyday life and in various industrial fields.
During the early years of operation of the Center, its laboratories frequently used glass products imported from abroad. But today the needs of its structures are almost completely covered by their own products manufactured by glass blowers on a scientific basis.
The high performance of the Design department is a significant contribution of the Turkmen science to the State program on import substitution, in particular, of foreign glass equipment for laboratory purposes - high-quality domestic glass products.
The department focuses not only on covering the needs of the Center of Technologies, but is also ready to carry out relevant orders for borosilicate glass products from domestic enterprises, as well as foreign companies which are widely represented in Turkmenistan.
