Turkmen entrepreneurs have opened a new carpet boutique in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Located in the Al Fattan Marine Towers complex in the Dubai Marina section of the Middle East's business hub, the new concept boutique, named Türkmen Halylary, offers visitors a wide collection of handmade Turkmen carpets - the real masterpieces of art, preserving and multiplicating tradititions of the ancient handicraft.
The opening ceremony of the store on Sunday was attended by the delegation of the Ministry of Textile Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), headed by the Deputy Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations K. Mammedov. The on-site fashion show of Turkmen dresses in national style was organized by the Yasmin Fashion House in Ashgabat.
The new store in one of the main tourist and business cities of the world aims to increase export opportunities for Turkmen carpet makers. The store is also being supplied with textile and souvenir products with distinctive Turkmen look.
The total area of the boutique co-operated by the Berkarar General Trading LLC is 84 square meters and has a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The owners of the store have also launched a website intended for the online sale of the products.
The new boutique demonstrates the readiness and enthusiasm of Turkmen entrepreneurs to participate in the World Exhibition EXPO-2020 to be hosted by Dubai.
