With the increase in the number of gas chemical plants in Turkmenistan, the number of entrepreneurs producing plastic containers has also increased. One of the manufacturers of polyethylene and polypropylene containers is Begler Yoly individual enterprise located in Ak Bugday district of the Akhal velayat.
Established in 2014, IP Begler Yoly is engaged in the production of plastic containers for storing food products, liquids, cleaning products and detergents, and plastic boxes for fruits and vegetables.
Business Turkmenistan interviewed Nazar Dovletov, the Director of the enterprise for commercial affairs. He talked about the cooperation with local entrepreneurs:
– As the main partner, I can mention Nur brand. For them, our company daily provides more than 20 thousand small plastic buckets with a volume of 0.8 liters. We signed a new contract for the supply of 2 million plastic containers. We plan to launch the production of ketchup packages for the Nur in the near future. Our plastic packaging is also used for some products of Elin. We are currently negotiating with Taze Ay company.
Dovletov noted that raw materials for the production of plastic products are supplied by local factories. He also said that his company produces plastic containers for some state enterprises, such as Turkmenhimiya.
According to Dovletov, through the use of high-quality raw materials, the strength of disposable plastic utensils is greatly increased, and the dishes do not break.
“We initially study the market”
When Begler Yoly receives an order from entrepreneurs, Dovletov says they start to study the market to provide the necessary containers:
– Before the start of the production process, we initially study the market to find the right product, and if the customer and potential consumers have an interest in this product, then we proceed to production. We advise entrepreneurs who knock our doors and help them find their place in the market. We have all the capabilities to produce any kind of plastic containers.
With the expansion of local production in the food and other industries, there is an increasing demand for the new types of containers. Describing the market demand for various containers, Dovletov added that they plan to launch the production of new types of containers for cleaning agents and confectionery in the future.
At the request of the customer, the company is also capable of producing containers using IML technology (In-Mold Labeling). In Turkmenistan, this technology is used for the first time. In-mould labeling is the use of paper or plastic labels during the manufacturing of containers by blow molding, injection molding, or thermoforming processes. The label serves as the integral part of the final product, which is then delivered as pre-decorated item.
Plastic Waste Recycling Plant
Begler Yoly works under the motto: "Friend of the environment", and plans to build a plant for the recycling of polypropylene, starch and rubber products. The company also plans to establish mechanisms for the collection of plastic waste in shopping centers and other public places.
Recycled plastic products will be used in areas not related to the food industry.
Dovletov described their activities carried out to ensure the safety of food products and to protect environment:
– Special labeling is attached on plastic containers that will be used for food products. It means that the container complies with international safety standards. The certification is issued to the enterprise after specific and detailed controls. You can see these labels on all our food containers. In the absence of such markings on the purchased product, the refusal of the product can save your health!
Algap brand and its exports
Begler Yoly company intends to introduce its plastic products to the market under the Algap trademark.
The Algap trademark will be used mainly in trade activities. Currently, work is underway on branding.
The company participated in the AGRO-PACK 2019 Tashkent exhibition in May and exported 50 thousand 1 liter containers to the Uzbek ice cream maker Sabe in June. If the cooperation continues, the production order will increase to 250 thousand containers per month.
