On Wednesday, in the Charjev, Sayat, Halach and Kerky etraps of the Lebap velayat, solemn ceremonies were held for the laying of new modern settlements. These etraps are most populous in the Amu Darya valley. The new residential complexes are designed for 3 thousand 500 families.
The future settlement in Charjev etrap, designed for 1 thousand families, will stretch over an area of 185 hectares. The settlement will be include 12 four-storey buildings, each of which is designed for 32 apartments, 381 one-storey houses with three to five rooms, 236 two-story houses with five rooms, a local government building, two schools for 640 students each, two kindergartens for 320 children each, House of Culture with a hall for 200 places, a network of retail outlets, the center for celebrations, a market and other social facilities.
The new settlement in the Halach etrap is also designed for 1 thousand families. The project on the territory of 200 hectares will include 641 one-storey houses with five rooms, 359 two-storey houses with three to four rooms, two secondary schools for 640 students each, two kindergartens for 320 children each, a healthcare center, a network of retail outlets and other social facilities.
The modern settlement, which will be built in Sayat etrap, is designed for 1 thousand families. Its territory will cover 215 hectares. The architectural ensemble of the complex includes 430 two-story houses with five rooms, 570 three- and four-room single-story houses, two secondary schools for 640 students each, two kindergartens for 320 children each, a network of outlets, House of Culture, the center for celebrations, a local government building and other social facilities.
The new settlement in the Kerky etrap is spread over 115 hectares and designed for 500 families. 140 five-room two-storey houses, 360 three- and four-bedroom single-storey houses, a secondary school for 640 students, a kindergarten for 320 children, a network of outlets, a bakery, a household services building and other social facilities will be erected in the area.
The construction of four modern settlements is scheduled for completion in 2024.
Construction of a new residential complex has also started in the city of Turkmenabat, the administrative center of Lebap velayat. Comfortable apartments are designed for hundreds of families. The project includes dozens of high-rise buildings and social facilities.
