The state program for import substitution is successfully implemented by Turkmen Shohle, a private enterprise established in 2016 in the Ak Bugday etrap of the Ahal velayat.
Initially, the owners of the enterprise drafted a business plan for the production of plastic products, and Senagat State Commercial Bank allocated loans for the organization of production. The company then constructed a plastic products factory on an area of 2.5 hectares. High-tech and modern equipment in the factory was installed by specialists from China and Germany.
The factory now employs 150 people and the current production capacity of the plant allows producing up to 10 thousand tons of polyethylene and propylene plastic products a year.
Ahmet Bayramov, Deputy General Director at the enterprise, says that they cooperate with wholesale buyers from all the provinces of the country to market the finished products of the plant. The company store is also being constructed for the retail trade in the enterprise. Turkmen Shohle cooperates with foreign partners and exports its products to Belarus, Afghanistan, Turkey and China.
The company has received international quality certificates. Regular improvement of the production process, the introduction of innovations, strict adherence to production technologies, and working directly with suppliers of raw materials helped the company to become one of the leading producers in the country.
Turkmen Shohle factory currently offers customers a wide range of products, such as toys, plastic containers, household goods, and plastic furniture. The product range is constantly updated upon customers’ requests.
