The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the delegation of the Republic of Argentine headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentine in Turkmenistan (with the residence in Moscow) Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio on Monday, the press service of the ministry reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of Turkmen-Argentine relations, particularly in political-diplomatic and trade-economic spheres. The Ambassador noted that Argentine, just like Turkmenistan, adheres to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
The parties also discussed the necessity of developing trade and economic relations. They considered the opportunities for launching export and import activities between the two countries. It was stated that Argentine has accumulated vast experience in the sphere of agriculture, animal husbandry and energy. In this regard, the need to organize regular meetings between the business circles of the two countries was underlined.
The diplomats also talked about the upcoming first Caspian Economic Forum set for next month.
