Specialists of the Gumdagnebit oil and gas production department of the Turkmennebit State Concern, working at the oldest oil fields of the country, have successfully summed up first half of the current year.
The department extracted 110,700 tons of oil, which is 113.5% fulfillment of the target plan for the first six months of the year. Gumdag oilmen increased the production growth rate by 105% compared to the same period of the last year.
The first borehole in the Gumdag field appeared in July 1947 as a result of oil and gas exploration.
