Abadan Haly Open Joint Stock Company exported 108,074.95 square meters of carpets and rugs in the first 10 months of this year.
According to the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, the company exported carpets to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Turkey, the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As customs statistics show, there is a significant increase in supplies to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Abadan Haly carpet complex was launched in 2016 with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Within three years, the complex has tripled its production capacity up to 2.5 million square meters of carpets annually.
In August, the largest carpet manufacturer of Turkmenistan participated in exhibitions organized in Iran and Singapore.
The private company’s carpet and polypropylene yarn products are exported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Turkey. The executives of the complex are currently holding trade negotiations with companies in Russia, Europe and the Middle East.
