President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received on Tuesday the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Çalyk Holding group of companies Ahmet Chalyk. The Head of State noted that cement is one of the main materials of the construction industry and invited the Head of the Holding to take part in a tender for the construction of three cement plants in the country.
Turkmen President focused on the active participation of the holding in the implementation of large mutually beneficial projects for the construction of new industrial and social facilities the in the fields of transport, energy and healthcare.
The Turkmen Leader emphasized that in the context of the course towards accelerated industrialization of the entire national economic complex of the country, the development of the metallurgical industry plays a special role, noting the need to build a metallurgical plant in the state.
During the meeting, the Head of State instructed the head of the company to complete the construction work on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan power line on schedule and at a high level. The sides also paid special attention to the renewable energy projects.
On the same day, the President arrived at the site of the construction of a new healthcare facility - the International Burn Treatment Center with 130 seats. The head of the contracting company, Ahmet Chalyk, briefed on the progress and pace of construction work of the medical complex.
The President of Turkmenistan was offered sketches and diagrams of the International Medical and Aesthetic Center, which is constructed by the Gap Inşaat company.
During the working meeting with the management of the country's industrial and communication sectors on November 20, the President of Turkmenistan assigned officials to build three new cement plants in velayats of Turkmenistan using foreign investments.
During the meeting, the Head of State stressed that in order to satisfy domestic needs and export cement, at least three more cement plants should be built. He then instructed to accelerate work in this direction.
