Turkmen President Appoints Ambassador to Portugal

Ambassador of Turkmenistan was appointed to the Portuguese Republic, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant Decree on Wednesday.

According to the Decree, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the French Republic Shohrat Jumayev was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Portuguese Republic.

Jumayev, which has been occupying the post of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France since December 20, 2018, was appointed Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to UNESCO on May 2 this year.

Turkmen President has also signed the Decree on December 7 this year appointing Jumayev as representative of Turkmenistan at the Bureau of International Expositions.
