Dubai (UAE) will host the International Conference entitled “TAPI - Gas Pipeline for Peace and Cooperation” and a forum to attract foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan on February 24-25.
Along with members of the Turkmen delegation, representatives of world’s leading oil and gas companies, financial institutions, research institutes and international organizations will take part in the events.
The agenda of the forum includes discussions on the role of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline in ensuring peace and cooperation in the region.
The forum will also address issues related to the prospects of further developing a gas chemical industry of Turkmenistan, attracting investments in projects for developing offshore blocks of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, new mechanisms of cooperation in the field of increasing the productivity of oil and gas fields, advanced hydrocarbon processing and marketing.
The agenda of the forum also includes a round table on the TAPI gas pipeline project. On the sidelines of the forum, members of Turkmen delegation will hold negotiations with representatives of foreign companies.
The second Roadshow event will take place in London on July 7-8, 2020.
A roadshow is a series of meetings across different cities in which top executives of a company have the opportunity to talk with current or potential investors.
