CIS Countries to Mull Economic Cooperation in Moscow
Moscow will host the 85th meeting of the CIS Economic Council on March 13.

Moscow will host the 85th meeting of the CIS Economic Council on March 13, according to the CIS Internet portal.

The event will take place at the World Trade Center (WTC).

The heads of delegations will discuss issues covering various areas of economic cooperation between the CIS member states. The representatives will consider the draft Priority Directions for Cooperation between the CIS Member States in Transport Sector for the Period until 2030.

During the meeting, the parties will also discuss the draft Action Plan on the Implementation of the Concept of Aligned Social and Demographic Policies of the CIS member states for 2020–2023.

On the same day the International Economic Forum CIS+WORLD will also be held in Moscow. The Forum is aimed at developing the strategic economic cooperation of the CIS countries, strengthening stability and expanding the multilateral constructive dialogue for the benefit of the global world and progress.

The 83rd meeting of the CIS Economic Council was held in Ashgabat in September last year, and the 84th meeting took place in Moscow in December 2019.
