Turkmen Packing Strap Producer Intends to Ramp Up Production
The packing straps are wound on reels and each reel contrains up to 2 thousand meters of the straps.

The enterprise of businessman Shanazar Yarjanov in Ashgabat has been producing polypropylene packing straps for two years now.

In an interview with Ashgabat-based Rysgal newspaper, the manager of the enterprise Arslan Bayramdurdiyev said the facility manufactures packing straps of various colors with a width of 8-16 mm and a thickness of 0.5-1.2 mm using machinery imported from China.

The packing straps are wound on reels. Each reel contains up to 2 thousand meters of the straps. Depending on the type of packing straps, they can withstand a load of up to 500 kg, according to the manager.

“The manufactured products are in demand not only in the domestic market, but also in Russia, Turkey and Belarus,” Bayramdurdiyev said, adding that therefore, the enterprise intends increase monthly packing strap production to 100 tons.

Production process at the enterprise is 95% based on the use of local raw materials.
