Representatives of the chambers of commerce and industry of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation on Tuesday held a meeting via a video link to discuss export opportunities and import needs of Turkmenistan and Russia in the textile industry.
This meeting provided an opportunity for participants to discuss the current state of bilateral cooperation, and the most pressing regional and international issues.
The sides paid special attention to the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of trade and exchange activities, particularly to the supply of Turkmen textile products. The meeting participants exchanged views on the supply of Turkmen products, including textile, yarn and cotton products to Russia.
As the meeting came to an end, the parties expressed satisfaction with the process of expanding Turkmen-Russian cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
The heads and representatives of relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan and Russia also attended the meeting.
