Turkmenbashi Jeans Complex Starts Production of Summer Clothing
Bedew presented its new collection of jeanswear on May 31 at the exhibition dedicated to Turkmen Carpet Day.

Turkmenbashi Jeans Complex, located in Turkmenistan’s capital of Ashgabat, started production of summer clothing line. Consumers are offered men's, women's and children's clothing made of denim material with embroideries and patterns applied using laser technology.

According to Neytralnyi Turkmenistan newspaper, the complex manufactures clothes based on modern designs and made of thin "breathable" fabric, which is pleasant to wear in hot weather, using machinery from leading manufacturers of Germany, Switzerland, and Japan.

“Our collections are always successful, as we strive to comply with the main trends in the world of fashion,” said Nurjahan Begjanova, specialist in the Planning Department of the complex. “We are trusted to fulfill orders by world-famous companies such as Colin’s, Zolla, Modis.”

According to Begjanova, the new line is created on the basis of the Colin’s and Zara brands, each model is offered with European fashion accessories for customers to choose from.

The complex was awarded the certificates of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System. The Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) standards are also applied in the complex.

Turkmenbashi Jeans Complex was created in several stages. In 1995, a dyeing workshop was commissioned, and in 1997, a spinning and sewing factory was commissioned. The jeans complex covers the total area of 21.5 hectares, and annually produces nine thousand tons of yarn, about 17 thousand square meters of fabric and 1.875 million units of jeans. The complex employs about 3 thousand people.
