Turkmenistan to Make Immediate Payments to Farmers For Their Harvest
Turkmen President said it is necessary to ensure uninterrupted and coordinated work of agricultural machinery.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in a working meeting on Monday instructed Deputy Prime Minister Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev to make immediate payments to farmers for their harvest and organize trade and cultural events for workers of the harvest season, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports.

During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister reported on the preparations for the upcoming working trips of the Head of State to Dashoguz and Balkan velayats, as well as on the pace of agricultural works in these regions.

Following the report, Turkmen President said it is necessary to ensure uninterrupted and coordinated work of agricultural machinery and emphasized that it is necessary to establish the proper operation of maintenance points for this purpose.

The Head of State noted that along with the wheat harvest, necessary measures should be taken to conduct other agricultural activities in a timely manner and noted the importance of observing agricultural standards. In this regard, the Turkmen Leader gave the Deputy Prime Minister relevant instructions.

Also during the meeting, the Head of the National Parliament Gulshat Mammedova informed about the preparations for the tenth meeting of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday.

The deputies will discuss the tasks of modernizing the country's legislation and preparing new laws to contribute to the progressive development of national economy.

The President noted the need to further improve the legal framework of Turkmenistan in order to strengthen the legislative work in a wide range of activities in various sectors of the national economy.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov then went on a working visit to Dashoguz province.
