Entrepreneur Meret Meredov’s enterprise, manufacturing products under the Datmeni trademark, has launched the production of fruit juices and jams, Turkmenistan’s Ahal Durmuşy newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The enterprise particularly produces apricot, blackberry, plum, fig, melon, cherry and strawberry jams, which are then sold to customers in 0.5-liter glass jars. The enterprise also produces 15 types of fruit juices.

Meredov's diversified enterprise also produces high-quality coarse, fine and very fine iodized table salt and sells them in special polyethylene bags of 0.5 kg and 1 kg, and in plastic buckets of 1.2 kg. Machinery installed in the salt production workshop of the enterprise allows to process and pack an average of 20 tons of salt per day.

In addition, the enterprise established production of fruit biscuits. The finished products are packed in special boxes of 700 g and sent to retail outlets. The plant also includes grain products packing workshop, which allows properly cleaning and packing mung beans, sunflower seeds, corn grains, rice, brown rice, lentils and in special packages.

The enterprise, located in the industrial zone of Ahal velayat’s Ak Bugday etrap, was commissioned in 2017. The enterprise started with the production of table salt.
