Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz Velayat Increases Manufacture of Building Materials
The Construction Materials Production Enterprise of Dashoguz Velayat Hyakimlik produced 1.1 million firebricks in the first nine months of this year.

In recent years, Turkmenistan has made large investments to create new plants specializing in the production of glass products, various types of non-metallic building materials, dry adhesive mixtures and reinforced concrete structures. As a result, the volume of production of building materials in the country increased several times. The country also modernizes existing facilities.

According to the Türkmenistan newspaper’s Friday issue, the Construction Materials Production Enterprise of Dashoguz Velayat Hyakimlik (Administration) produced and delivered to construction sites 6,000 cubic meters of concrete slabs, 1.1 million firebricks, more than 2,400 cubic meters of expanded clay in the first nine months of this year.

The re-equipment of the latest technologies and the commissioning of new workshops allowed the enterprise to increase its production potential, which, in turn, contributed to an increase in the production growth rate compared to last year's indicators for the same period.

Currently, around 2.5 thousand large facilities with a total value of over $37 billion are under construction in Turkmenistan.

In July of this year, Turkmen companies started the construction of the second stages of Baherden Cement Plant in the Ahal velayat and the Lebap Cement Plant in Koytendag etrap, with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons each.
