Turkmen Foreign Ministry to Digitize Activities of Its Consular Service
The main task of consular offices is to protect the rights and interests of legal entities and citizens of Turkmenistan.

In order to digitize the activities of the consular service of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country intends to purchase software for the legalization (certification) of documents and online consular registration of citizens, according to the information on the official website of Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.

The software supplier will be determined following a public procurement auction, which will be held at the building of the Ministry of Finance and Economy on October 30.

Employees of the consular services of Turkmenistan, within the framework of their authority, carry out notarial activities, registration of acts of civil status, legalization of documents and other acts.

Consular offices also include consular departments at diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan abroad. Their main task is to protect the rights and interests of legal entities and citizens of Turkmenistan.
