The Lebap branch of the Gazygaýtadanişleýiş Department for the production of liquefied gas is increasing the processing of natural gas at the facilities in Bagaja field, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Thursday.
The Department produced 8,315 tons of liquefied gas during the eleven months of 2020, fulfilled the production plan by 110%, which is significantly higher than the indicators of the same period last year.
The production department also achieved good results in the production of gas condensate. During the period, the Department delivered around 24,500 tons of gas condensate to the Seydi Oil Refinery, achieving a growth rate of 148% compared to same period last year.
The Canadian company Thermo Design Engineering Ltd, together with Turkmen partners, had built modern complex facilities for the production of liquefied gas at the Naip and Bagaja fields. Most of the produced liquefied natural gas goes to export.
