Turkmenistan’s Revenue From Export of Hydrocarbon Products Exceeds $4 Billion
The total investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan over 11 months of the outgoing year amounted to more than 7.1 billion manats.

Turkmenistan's revenues from the export of natural gas and oil products during the 11 months of 2020 exceeded $4.13 billion, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Friday.

Turkmenistan produced 8.7 million tons of oil and gas condensate, as well as 62.3 billion cubic meters of gas during the period. The country exported about 31 billion cubic meters of gas during the period.

The total investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan over 11 months of the outgoing year amounted to more than 7.1 billion manats, which is 492 million manats more compared to the same period of 2019.

The volume of the country’s production of liquefied gas, which is in stable demand abroad, amounted to 231 thousand tons, which is 42.3 thousand tons more than last year.

According to the report, the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries produced more than 1.7 million tons of gasoline of various brands and over 1.65 million tons of diesel fuel in January-November. The refinery sold a significant part of its products to foreign companies.

The sale of polyethylene produced by the Kiyanly Polymer Plant has more than tripled since the beginning of the year. During the 10 months of 2020, about 140 thousand tons of these products were sold through the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, which is almost 95 thousand tons more compared to the same period last year.
