TULM Organizes Air Transportation of Turkmen Plastic Pipes to Turkey
TULM transported Turkmen business’s plastic pipes, totaling 25 tons, on two flights on Ashgabat-Istanbul route.

Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan (TULM) Open Joint-Stock Company in early February organized the air transportation of Turkmen plastic pipes to Turkey.

TULM told Business Turkmenistan that the company transported Turkmen business’s plastic products, totaling 25 tons, on two flights on Ashgabat-Istanbul route, adding that it became possible due to the improvement of cargo transportation by the Türkmenhowaýollary (Turkmen Airlines) Agency. TULM plans to carry out such air transportation on the route regularly, 3-4 flights per month.

Since international air cargo transportation mainly involves direct flights, they are distinguished by the highest level of cargo safety, which guarantees its safety from loss and damage along the entire route, the company told BT, noting that even in cases where transportation involves transferring a cargo to another plane, the guarantee of its safety remains at the same high level. TULM noted that due to its wide network and direct agreements with the world's largest air carriers, it offers air freight transportation at competitive prices.

TULM OJSC was established in July 2018. The company was created in order to effectively use the possibilities of international transport corridors passing through Turkmenistan, to help increase the volume of transit goods, and to develop logistics solutions for the delivery of transit, import-export cargo from the consignor to the consignee.
