President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Friday during an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers approved a number of documents on the country's socio-economic development.
During the meeting, the Head of State signed a resolution on approving the Strategy for the management and reform of enterprises with state participation in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025 and the Action Plan for its implementation, TDH news agency reports.
The State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025 and the Action Plan for its implementation were also approved during the meeting.
The Head of State also signed a Resolution on approving the Regulation on Licensing Activities for the Import, Production and Sale of Chemical Products.
In accordance with another Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, an Interdepartmental Commission was established to coordinate the operation of the Single Window for Export-Import Operations system. The Head of State also approved the Commission’s composition and regulations.
In addition, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also signed a Resolution declaring the S.A.Niyazov etrap of Dashoguz velayat, which in 2020 achieved the highest results in all indicators in the social, economic and cultural spheres among etraps of velayats and cities with etrap rights, as the winner etrap in Turkmenistan.
The Central Bank has been instructed to allocate a cash prize of $1 million from the State Fund for the Development of the Golden Age of Turkmenistan to the Hyakimlik (Administration) of the winning etrap.
