A significant increase in production volumes was recorded at major state enterprises of Turkmenistan in the first quarter of 2021, the Ashgabat-based Orient news outlet reported on Thursday with reference to the data of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan.
In January-March period of this year, the Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern increased its production volume by 46.2%, while the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR) increased its output by 18.2%, according to the data.
The Ministry of Textile Industry increased its production volume by 26.9% during the period. Production volumes at the facilities of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan increased by 22%. The country’s Ministry of Industry and Construction Production also demonstrated positive growth indicators, whose enterprises increased their output by 18.5%.
The construction of different installations is presently underway at the TCOR. The installations will allow to deepen the processing of raw materials and expand the range of export products with high added value.
