The company has also expanded its line of light disposable containers used in the packaging of confectionery and ice cream.

Türkmen Şöhle, the manufacturer of plastic and polyethylene products in Turkmenistan, has launched the production of new types of packaging materials, the country’s official media reported on Friday.

The company’s roll-to-roll stretch film for food products is in high demand, according to the report. It is made from local polymers – low density polyethylene produced by the country’s oil and gas industry.

The automated equipment installed in the company’s production facility produces thousands of kilograms of packaging material daily. The company also produces a protective film intended for temporary protection of furniture, electronic, computer and household appliances, and building materials.

The company has also expanded its line of light disposable containers to fulfill the orders for companies specializing in the production of confectionery and ice cream. The company has doubled its production of packaging materials for such products as cakes, ice cream, cookies and mayonnaise.

The company currently exports its products to countries such as Afghanistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Founded in 2016, Türkmen Şöhle processes over 300 tons of domestic raw materials every month and produces about 160 types of plastic products. The company's line of products includes about dozen types of disposable tableware, more than twenty types of toys, household utensils, packaging bags, labels for drinks, colored bags, cellophane and much more.
