Georgia Imports $32 Million Worth of Oil Products From Turkmenistan
Oil products rank third among the largest imported goods in Georgia.

Georgia imported 60,400 tons of oil products worth $32 million from Turkmenistan in the first quarter of 2021, the Baku-based Trend news agency reported on Saturday with reference to the National Statistical Office of Georgia (Geostat).

Georgia purchased a total of 270,000 tons of oil products during the period, which is 1,100 tons or 0.4% more than in the same period in 2020, according to the report. The total cost of the imported oil products was $141.9 million.

According to the Geostat data, the top 5 countries that exported oil products to Georgia in Q1 2021 are:

1) Turkmenistan - $32 million, 60,400 tons;

2) Russia - $28 million, 59,400 tons;

3) Romania - $27.4 million, 51,200 tons;

4) Azerbaijan - $20.1 million, 43,000 tons;

5) Bulgaria - $14.4 million, 26,900 tons.

Oil products rank third among the largest imported goods in Georgia.
