The cotton-spinning factory in Dashoguz velyat’s Koneurgench etrap exported yarn to China for the first time. The company's products are traditionally supplied to numerous European and Arab countries, the official Turkmen media reported on Friday.
The enterprise of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan annually exports around 70% of its ring spun cotton yarn in accordance with the terms of contracts concluded at Turkmen state commodity exchange.
The cotton spinning mill in Koneurgench is one of the youngest facilities in the country's textile industry. It is capable of processing of up to 6,700 tons of cotton fiber annually and produce 6,000 tons of high-quality yarn using the open-end rotor manufacturing method, according to the report.
The factory houses high-tech equipment distinguished by productivity and optimal energy consumption. The mill is installed with spinning machines, carding units, and other specialized equipment of leading global brands.
Dashoguz velayat is one of the largest producers of raw cotton in Turkmenistan. With state investments, a full cycle has been created in the velayat, including the production and processing of cotton into a final product.
